OBAMA WARNS PUTIN AGAIN

President Obama put Russian President Vladimir Putin on notice Wednesday evening, warning that further actions to destabilize the interim Ukrainian government will result in consequences from both the United States and Europe.

In an interview with CBS News White House Correspondent Major Garrett , Mr. Obama said it was “absolutely clear” that Russia had violated Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by annexing Crimea last month, and they continue to do so by supporting “non-state militias” in southern and eastern Ukraine.

Still, the White House has not abandoned diplomatic solutions. Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to Geneva Wednesday evening to prepare for four-party talks with European, Russian and Ukrainian officials.

Republicans suggest resolution condemning Obama for violating Constitution

During the State of the Union, Obama made it abundantly clear Congress and the American people are irrelevant. Early on in the address, Obama threatened to rule by supreme diktat. “Whenever and wherever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that is what I am going to do,” he said, trashing the principles of constitutional government.

“I’ll act on my own,” he declared.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus didn’t mention Obama’s threat to rule by decree or his numerous constitutional violations.

Texas Republican Steve Stockman walked out of the SOTU early on. “I could not bear to watch as he continued to cross the clearly-defined boundaries of the Constitutional separation of powers,” Stockman said. “This is a wholesale violation of his oath of office and a disqualifying offense.”

Other House Republicans chimed in. “Unfortunately, what I heard from President Obama tonight was hostility toward our foundational principles, condescension toward a co-equal branch of government, and a general aversion to common sense and bipartisanship,” said Rep. Raúl Labrador of Idaho.

“The president’s attempt to intimidate Congress by abusing executive power demonstrates a serious unwillingness to work with the coequal legislative branch of government,” Republican Rep. Gregg Harper of Mississippi added.

“This threat that the president is going to run the government with an ink pen and executive orders, we’ve never had a president with that level of audacity and that level of contempt for his own oath of office,” Rep. Steve King said prior to Obama’s address. The Iowa congressman said “it’s Congress’s job to pass the laws. He knows that. And we need to take our oath seriously and defend the Constitution.”

He based his comments on remarks made by White House chief of staff Denis McDonough, who said that “rather than sit and wait for Congress to take action, we’re going to go ahead and roll out on our own, using the president’s authority.”

King told CNN “this Congress should lay out the violations that the president has had. And there are many.” He said a resolution may be brought to the House floor disapproving Obama’s behavior and “that lists all of his constitutional violations, or at least the clearest ones – there are very many, I don’t know that if we’d ever get to all,” he said.

Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota also suggested action against the president. “If he wants to move forward with this unilateral activity, he better be prepared for the lawsuit that the United States Congress will bring to him,” she said. “He may think he’s king, he may declare he’s a king, but that’s not what he is under the constitution.”

A majority of Republicans, however, are cool to the idea of impeachment. “Out of the nearly 280 Republican lawmakers conducting town halls during the August [2013] recess, the Left found four who discussed impeachment, none of whom advocated for it,” writes Andrew Stiles. He said “the GOP has no appetite for seriously pursuing impeachment.”

In December, King criticized fellow members of the House Judiciary Committee for refusing to say the word. He said impeachment is “the word that we don’t like to say in this committee, and I’m not about to utter here in this particular hearing.”

In the Democrat controlled Senate there is even less of an appetite to discuss impeachment. “We’ve also talked about the I-word, impeachment, which I don’t think would get past the Senate in the current climate,” noted Rep. Blake Farenthold, a Texas Republican.

During a hearing by the House Judiciary Committee in December, Republicans enumerated actions Obama has taken that exceed his authority.

“Examples included bombing Libya without congressional authorization,”The Columbus Dispatch reported, “delaying implementation of some provisions of Obamacare; waiving immigration restrictions to enable children of illegal immigrants to remain in the United States; easing federal drug enforcement in states that have legalized the medicinal or recreational use of marijuana; ending mandatory-minimum prison sentences for some drug offenses; and permitting the Internal Revenue Service to scrutinize conservative organizations’ applications for non-profit, tax-exempt status.”

Obama Announces Plan to Rule by Executive Order

Next phase of dictatorship proposed to save children and workers

Obama has officially announced plans to trash the Constitution and move forward with a socialist-corporatist dictatorship without input from Congress or the American people. He made the announcement Tuesday during a cabinet meeting.

“We’re not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help they need. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said.

“And I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward in helping to make sure our kids are getting the best education possible, making sure that our businesses are getting the kind of support and help they need to grow and advance, to make sure that people are getting the skills that they need to get those jobs that our businesses are creating.”

Article I Section I of the Constitution clearly states all legislative powers reside with Congress. The founders were inspired by the writings of Montesquieu and insisted on three separate branches of government and instituted a system of checks and balances to prevent tyranny. “There can be no liberty where the legislative and executive powers are united in the same person,” Montesquieu wrote.

James Madison, writing in Federalist 46, warned that consolidated power at the executive level is the very definition of tyranny. “The accumulation of all power, legislative, executive, and judiciary in the same hands… may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”

George Washington signed the first executive order proclaiming a national day of thanksgiving in 1789. Since that time, the Supreme Court has ruled executive orders may not be used to make law, only execute laws passed by Congress. From Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt onward, however, presidents have signed a large number of increasingly audacious and unconstitutional executive orders.

“Obama, lacking the charm of Franklin Roosevelt, nevertheless seeks to follow his path in growing executive power,” writes David Davenport. “Starting with President Woodrow Wilson, and culminating in Roosevelt’s New Deal, progressives sought to undermine the power of the legislature in favor of consolidating power in the executive branch. From passing the sweeping healthcare reform bill on a party-line vote, to the largest use of executive czars in our history, to initiating new policies on things like immigration and gun control by executive order, Obama seeks to leave 225 years of constitutional separation of powers behind. This needs to be exposed for what it is: a series of constitutional end-runs and a power grab by a frustrated and legacy-driven president.”

Republicans, looking for partisan ammo to attack a Democrat president, will undoubtedly criticize Obama’s latest constitutional affront. Executive orders and the gradual evolvement of the imperial presidency is not limited to Democrats, however.

“Both Republicans and Democrats are fond of referring to the ‘imperial presidency’ when someone from the opposite party is in the White House,” explains William L. Anderson. “Yet both parties have acted to protect and strengthen the presidency when it was to their advantage.”

“Unless members of the other branches are willing to act on the important principle of decentralization of power, the American Experiment will end up being nothing but a footnote of history.”

This relegation of the American experiment to an irrelevant footnote is precisely what the global elite with a stranglehold on government have in mind.

The globalist intelligentsia continue to argue in favor of trashing to Constitution. In 2011, CNN contributor Fareed Zakaria argued that the Constitution is outdated and its principles should be “debated and fixed” to conform with the modern era. He suggested “a set of amendments to modernize the Constitution for the 21st Century.”

Adherence to the Constitution is now portrayed as a form of mental illness. “Indeed, there is something infantile in the belief of the constitution-worshipers that the complex political arguments of today can be settled by simple fidelity to a document written in the 18th century,” the editors the Economist wrote in late 2010. “When history is turned into scripture and men into deities, truth is the victim.”

The Constitution stands between the global elite and their plan to reduce America to an economic and cultural ruin. Natural rights and individual sovereignty are intractable obstacles and must be destroyed if a one world totalitarian government is to be realized.

Obama’s latest comments on the plan to impose executive decrees – as usual, for the sake of the children – sets the stage for the next phase of dictatorial government and the dismantlement of the Constitution and its relegation to the dustbin of history.

The number of working age Americans without a job has risen by almost 10 million under Obama

That headline is not a misprint. The number of working age Americans that do not have a job has increased by nearly 10 million since Barack Obama first entered the White House. In January 2009, the number of “officially unemployed” workers plus the number of Americans “not in the labor force” was sitting at a grand total of 92.6 million. Today, that number has risen to 102.2 million. That means that the number of working age Americans that are not working has grown by close to 10 million since Barack Obama first took office. So why does the “official unemployment rate” keep going down? Well, it is because the federal government has been pretending that millions upon millions of unemployed workers have “left the labor force” over the past few years and do not want to work anymore. The government says that another 347,000 workers “left the labor force” in December. That is nearly five times larger than the 74,000 jobs that were “created” by the U.S. economy last month. And it is important to note that more than half of those jobs were temporary jobs, and it takes well over 100,000 new jobs just to keep up with population growth each month. So the unemployment rate should not have gone down. If anything, it should have gone up.

In fact, if the federal government was using an honest labor force participation rate, the official unemployment rate would be far higher than it is right now. Instead of 6.7 percent, it would be 11.5 percent, and it has stayed at about that level since the end of the last recession.

But “6.7 percent” makes Obama look so much better than “11.5 percent”, don’t you think?

The labor force participation rate is now at a 35 year low, and the only way that the federal government has been able to get the “unemployment rate” to go down is by removing hundreds of thousands of Americans out of the labor force every month.

Why don’t they just get it over with and announce that they have decided that all workers immediately leave the labor force the moment that they lose their jobs? That way we could have an unemployment rate of “0.0 percent” and Obama could be hailed as a great economic savior.

Of course the truth is that the employment crisis in the United States is about as bad now as it was during the depths of the last recession.

If you want a much more accurate reading of the employment picture in America, just look at the employment-population ratio. The percentage of working age Americans that actually have a job continues to stagnate at an extremely low level. In fact, the percentage of working age Americans that are employed has stayed between 58.2 percent and 58.8 percent for 52 months in a row…

Does that look like an “employment recovery” to you?

Because no matter how hard I squint my eyes, I just can’t see it.

The percentage of Americans that actually have jobs should have bounced back at least a little bit by now.

But it has not happened.

And guess what? Most people don’t know this, but the U.S. economy actually created fewer jobs in 2013 than it did in 2012. So the momentum of job creation is actually going the wrong way.

No matter how rosy the mainstream media makes things out to be, the reality on the ground tells an entirely different story.

For example, just check out the desperation that was displayed on the streets of New York City last week…

The line wrapped nearly around an entire city block on Friday as approximately 1,500 people waited in Queens for a chance to apply for a coveted union job as painters or blasters on bridges and steel structures.

The first few people on line had been there since 1 p.m. on Tuesday when the temperature in New York City was in the single digits.

The job that those desperate workers wanted to apply for only pays $17.20 an hour.

Of course that is far from an isolated incident. Last week, I wrote about how 1,600 workers recently applied for just 36 jobs at an ice cream plant in Maryland.

We would not be witnessing scenes like these if the unemployment rate in America was really just 6.7 percent.

An article by Phoenix Capital Research does a good job of summarizing how useless the official government numbers have become…

Since 2009, we’ve been told that things have improved. The fact of the matter is that the improvement has been largely due to accounting tricks rather than any real change in reality.

Sure you can make unemployment look better by not counting people, you can claim the economy is growing by ignoring inflation, you can argue that inflation is low because you don’t count food or energy, but the reality is that all of these arguments are grade “A” BS.

We are now five years into the “recovery.” The single and I mean SINGLE accomplishment from spending over $3 trillion has been the stock market going higher. This is a complete and total failure. Based on the business cycle alone, the economy should be roaring.

What does it say that we’ve spent this much money and accomplished so little?

The word is FAILURE.

The media is lying about the economy. They have been for years. Even the BLS now admits that its methodologies are either inefficient (read: DON’T work) or outright wrong.

The cold, hard reality of the matter is that there has not been an economic recovery in this nation.

Anyone that tries to tell you that is lying to you.

And now the next major wave of the economic collapse is rapidly approaching.

The U.S. national debt is on pace to more than double during the eight years of the Obama administration and the Federal Reserve has been recklessly printing up trillions of dollars. The long-term damage that they have done to our economy is incalculable. But despite all of those extraordinary “stimulus” measures, the percentage of Americans that are actually working has not budged.

If we were going to have a recovery, it would have happened by this point. In fact, this is all the “recovery” that we are going to experience.

From here on out, this is about as good as things are going to get. As bad as you may think things are now, the truth is that this is rip-roaring prosperity compared to what is coming.

After $4M Vacation, Obama Talks Income Inequality…

Back from his $4 million Hawaii vacation, President Barack Obama seems poised to sound the populist trumpet in an effort to turn the page on 2013’s disastrous Obamacare rollout.

Many pundits are speculating that Obama, seeing the popularity of liberal populists like New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, will use the current debate over unemployment insurance to engage in more divisive rhetoric:

The Obama administration has set the stage for a push that could rekindle cries of class warfare — calling for renewed long-term unemployment benefits, a minimum wage increase and a campaign against what Democrats call “income inequality.”

Ahead of his multi-week, holiday vacation in Hawaii, President Obama pushed Congress to move forward on extending federal unemployment benefits that weren’t included in the budget deal Senate Democrats and House Republicans struck to fund the federal government for the next two years. The White House has scheduled an East Room event on Tuesday in which the president will appear with people who lost that insurance.
