“That’s when the homeless man came up to me. He said, ‘Hey my name is Dave. I’m from Dallas. I’m down on my luck. Do you have any change,’” Snider told KPRC-TV.

Snider gave the man the aforementioned 75 cents and drove away.

“I had no idea at all what was about to happen,” said Snider.

As Snider pulled onto the highway, he said a police car came up behind him and started flashing its lights and sirens.
